This was one of the ONLY Destruction cassette's I ever owned back in the late 80's. This is also without question one of the most underrated live performaces in the world of Thrash Metal today in my opinion...

"Live Without Sense" will rip your lungs out...BUY IT.

Brilliant a Masterpiece

"I love Destruction from as far back as I can remember, as soon as I saw this live album I bought it. As I said in a previous review, this thrash metal band came out at a time when thrash was in all its glory and still Destruction managed to aquire a huge fan base because of their technical style of Thrash metal. Guitar players Harry and Mike really take all the tracks on this live album to a next level and give amazing textures to the songs. At first You can hear the people screaming , Destruction! Destruction!! then the amazing "Curse the Gods" where you really are left pillaged after the guitar assualt from these masters. This album is a must have because all of Destructions best songs are here and it will give you an idea of what this band is all about. "Live without Sense", "Eternal Ban", "Reject Emotions", "Release from agony" all these are thrash metal classics and if you havent heard them, you have no idea what your missing. Some people dont like Schmier's voice, but I think it sounds perfect with the music, not to mention that he is playing the bass at the same time. The drummer Olly does a great job, the production is clear and it really is worth a try!! PLEASE BUY THIS ALBUM!!!!!!"
A Staple for Any Thrasher's Collection

"This is classic thrash. The album brings out the true intensity of the best tracks from the band's first two very poorly produced albums, "Infernal Overkill" and "Eternal Devastation," while complimenting their third release, "Release from Agony," quite nicely. The production is so good as compared with other 80's live thrash recordings, I have always questioned the authenticity of the "live" claim. Regardless, this remains Destruction's best release to date with absolutely crushing drums, the most intense guitar performance and blistering vocals. Mike Sifringer is a guitar master as proven on the band's preceding studio releases, surpassing Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman (Slayer) in both speed and technique. On this album and accompanying US tour, he was at the peak of his career. This album is a must-have for any fan of early Slayer and Kreator."
