CD ReviewsThe urge to listen to Destroy is a creative urge. Ezra Claverie | Saint Louis, Missouri, USA | 03/10/2005 (4 out of 5 stars) "This CD contains the (almost) complete discography of Twin Cities crust-grind heroes Destroy. Their posthumous LP, _Necropolis_, constitutes the first 21 tracks on the disc; the remainder comprises the famous _Burn this Racist System Down_ EP ("Burnthisracistsystemdown! Burnthisracistsystemdown! Burnthisracistsystemdown!") and assorted tracks from compliations and splits. The _Necropolis_ LP shows the band at the top of their game, playing riff-driven hardcore with better hooks and more tempo changes than any of their earlier work. Gravel-throated newcomer Mandy and cop-hating stalwart Felix Von Havoc let fly with a roaring enfilade on capitalism, its stooges, and its soldiers. "War Without Mercy" and "Stop Thinking and Follow" are new recordings of older songs; the latter re-invents a sluggish original as a pummeling thrashcore assault. Use hearing protection." BRUN THE RACIST SYSTEM DOWN! Ezra Claverie | 04/09/2003 (3 out of 5 stars) "Twin citites hard core 100%, some ragin tracks on this cd. my favorite is definatley song 37 DEAD TO THE WORLD, but this cd has a lotta good ones just listen to it, a lot of the songs aren't even a minute long that is the only downfall about this cd but all in all if you like hardcore sh1t this cd has your name written all over it."
