"If you like driving music, with all those quiet/loud moments and changes so often that in just one song you think you heard more than three, you will like this band and this album especially.Del Rey added something to their music since their debut album so the music sounds more expanded and developed. There is also electronic workouts, like adding rhythm machines and some synth sounds just when the rock form ends,to be back again after some minutes and mix it all.A lot has been played on this record, regular rock grooves, ambiental floating, drone meanderings and even drum'n'bass trip(in rock form again). Its not in post rock philosophy that changes are inevitable,so there must be a lot of them.On this record there are so many changes that one cannot even get used to a single groove,it is already changed.Though it's not agressively changed, you can actually follow trajectory of their changes.Maybe it's the lack, maybe it's a plus.Depends on you.If this is a post rock album, than it's monumental since they developed that feeling of unpredictable changes.Though you can sense them coming from a distance and darkness.Enjoy anyway since this will bring certain atmosphere into your home."
