CD ReviewsStarting Soundtrack Michael Kerner | Brooklyn, New York U.S.A. | 10/13/2007 (4 out of 5 stars) "This past year really hasn't brought out anything new into R&B. But while the songs from Ciara, Beyonce' and others feel like second nature, there have been a few surprises. Newcomer Deemi has really stretched her voice very well with her opening single, Soundtrack Of My Life. The song is very upbeat and strong. She has a feeling that is similar to what we've heard from Alicia Keys, and that is felt with the urban beats on this song. I really love this song on the radio, and I really am eager to see what comes up with the record. This soundtrack is really worth listening too.
