"Wow. I bought this album without listening to any samples, something I don't usually do. But I trusted the reviews posted here on Amazon, and I am a huge fan of Frontline Assembly and their many side projects. I am so happy I bought this album. Now, with that said, Moment of Silence doesn't really sound like Frontline Assembly or any of their other works. This album is a magnet for all the darkness, the harshness from FLA, culminating in a sound that ranges from heavy industrial with a little metal to haunting ambience with an industrial edge. I am always on the search for music that takes me to a dark place. Rarely do I find such a gem as this. Moment of Silence creates a backdrop of death, screams of the tortured. Pain, crawling through a land of devastation. Beautiful. Fuel for the creative juices. Thank you Decree!"

"For fan's of Front Line Assembly, Chris Petersen shouldn't be a relatively new name. Despite his long standing work in groups like Decree and Will, it's his work as a hired gun alongside Bill Leeb that has garnered him the most recognition.
However, those expecting anything remotely similar to Front Line Assembly or EBM in 'Moment Of Silence' should be warned. Alongside Ross Redhead and Sean Lawson, Chris has taken industrial back to it's harsh and noisy roots with the new Decree.
Songs evolve, moving from crushing drums, devastating electronics and noisy guitar into creepy dark ambient tracks; the aural landscape created features nothing other than chaos, pain and ruin. Decree has taken queues from the old school masters of the genre and put forward an original and punishing CD. This all makes for an intense listening experience, one definitely not for the faint of heart."
Worth picking up

"Very cool disc. The tracks are diverse, ranging from aggressive attacks with strong vocals & percussion (ie. Crushed), to tracks that are mostly doomy/droning/noisey/dark ambient atmospheres (ie. Scorched Earth). Overall this is a great amalgamation of noise & distortion, dark ambient, drum 'n bass, and some experiamentalism. I recommend picking it up! I may have to up the rating to 5 stars after spinning it a few more times."
Awestruck

"I tried writing a review for this album awhile back but it does not seem to have been posted, so here it goes again.
I will start off by saying I bought Moment of Silence based on a friends reccomendation. I could not be any happier, Decree have managed to put out one of the more brutal and haunting records I have heard in a long time. All of this is surprising considering the Frontline Assembly association, Frontline this is not. The best I can say is Decree manage to defy categorization with Moment of Silence this is not a metal album nor is it a pure industrial album, it is somewhere in between. A very worthy purchase."
I hope DECREE make lots more records

"what an album this is. decree is making the only worthwhile industrial in years. no other industrial act is this true to the vision. thank god chris peterson left FLA and is working on this instead. wake of devastation is equally recommended."
