"The reason for 3 stars is the sound quality. It bites really. It doesn't do Deceased any justice to their music! The music rips and is friggin' awesome... but the production is lacking and makes this album 3 stars. I have Fearless Undead Machines and the clarity of that compared with this is like a kick in the teeth. After listening to one of Deceased's clearer albums (with better clarity) and then listening to 13 Frightened Souls... its a dissapointment. But that doesn't stop the music from being sweet as, it just clouds it and makes it less obvious :-( If you're a Deceased fan, go ahead get it. But if you're just starting to get into Death Metal or Deceased, then try for a more recent Deceased album or summin'."

Deaceased are a metal band for true metal fans

"i own all their albums i highly recommend them to anyone but if you are not into real "true metal" then maybe deceased are not for you well maybe somefolks need to experience what real metal is like i think those who have strayed way from the real metal scene should pick up deceased's albums and go back to the roots of metal and not that other stuff that pushes good bands like this outta the circuit we need to give these bands here fair chance..they are true metal and rule thanks missy st.germain"
