CD Reviews

Deborah's best!

"This Deborah's best song she has ever written! I love it! Please ignore the previous review! She or he missed the point that "being naked" in the song is about being open and honest about your feelings and not about not having clothes on! Its a great song and worth your money!"
Ok what is going on here????

"This song is one of her best tracks to date....But the sad part is playboy and this track have done nothing to help deborah get to a place where a larger group of people can hear her grown up....My thought is Ms Gibson needs to seek help with David Foster or someone who can show her which way to go without selling out what myself and other true fans KNOW is that Deborah Gibson is the best. Buy the cd and play it and be proud to be naked....Bare all your souls and hearts like she does in this song. The song is pure DG. Now where is a new cd????"
Deborah as good as ever

"Question: Why do the media, and people in general, have Deborah stuck in a time warp? (Not even Tiffany has to go through this.)

She is no longer the 16 year-old girl singing "Only In My Dreams" and long gone are the days of "Electric Youth." What will it take to get people to see that she is a 35 year-old woman whose music and producing have grown considerably over the years?

As a dedicated Deborah fan (she'll always be Debbie to me), it took me a long time to digest the fact that she wasn't going to sound like "Out of the Blue" or "Electric Youth." Seeing that she's only 5 years away from 40 reinforces that point.

I'm not crazy that Debbie has bared all for Playboy but, hey, that's her business. Don't like it? Don't buy the magazine. (I know I won't.)

I'm glad to see Debbie putting out new music. Her fans will buy it and love it just like we have been all these years.

Any young woman wanting to get into music should use Debbie as their role model: She has been in full control of her music career - from writing to producing and everything else in between - since she was 15 years old.

Record company creation she was not and will never be!"
