Synopsis

Product Description
This record is tough and black, yet seductive and passionate in its expression of the city's destructive night side. By expanding structures and using even more varied elements, these Swedish death glammers have strengthened and deepened the richness in their trademark super dark rock. The deathglam-style they originated with their first two albums sounds more huge and alive than ever. It's dark and cold, yet massively heavy and warm - a paradox that defines the very essence of Deathstars.

CD Reviews

Freakin' AWESOME!
Feeling Drowsy | Fullerton, Ca USA | 12/15/2009

"I love this band. I just stumbled upon them, (well, not literally), and I listen to them all the time now.

On some of the albums I don't care for the bad language but there are some great compositions and the mix is just intense.

If you like melodic bands like Dream Theater, more than likely you will like this band too!

Great job DEATHSTARS, you have earned another fan!"
Nice new album....

"I have all the DeathStars albums...

This is a new addition to my collection but my favorite is still Synthetic Generation. If you buy DeathStars for the first time buy Synthetic Generation.

This album seems to be better than the previous album: Termination Bliss.

If you like Rammstein-like industrial metal, this is a band to get. That being said, they are original, the music doesn't sound like Rammstein, it is just the same genre."
The best glam metal in years!

"The Deathstars bring together a perfect mix of goth, metal, industrial and glam. I highly recommend this album to fans of Marilyn Manson, Slipknot, Cradle of Filth, and HIM. Roll those four bands together add an industrial flare and a splash of glitter and you have one of the most complete, eccentric, yet heart touching albums of the year.

The music has a sinister sound to it that reaches deep into your bones and the band always takes it a step further with meaningful lyrics or an out of the blue, truly beautiful song like Via The End ( the piano version) to reach your heart.

Just when you think this is just another glam band, you are touched by the feeling of the music and I feel it truly sets them apart from other bands in their genre.

If you want music that you can connect with and feel, then check out this band and you're in for a great surprise."
