The inexorable approach of something as oblivious as it is massive. Half-heard thoughts from half-remembered dreams, not your own. Machinery that rattles and pumps without cease, though rusting, untended under skies that have never seen a sun.

Amazingly, all recorded live to tape.

The Finest in Dark Ambient Drone Experimental......

"Mark Spybey makes soundscapes, he makes atmosphere, this is modern sound and "ambiance" in the true sense of the word. While this former Download conspirator has made some really amazing records with beats like Frankie Pett presents, and Piss Frond. This is DVoA's finest ambient/drone record. It has stood the test of time and perhaps this record is like a fine wine as time goes on the magick of this record gets better and better, it stands out above an endless sea of music... Mark Spybey creates music for dreams and is a master of his craft...."

The other albums are better.

"Although I'll give some credit for the appealing epic ambience of the album, and the light touches of dub, and the snazzy cover art, this isn't one of the best DVOA releases I've heard. If you find the usual material too abrasive or difficult to listen to, you might enjoy this more, but generally speaking I found albums like Shap and Hafted Maul more inventive and interesting."
