Good | The Woodlands, Tx United States | 06/03/2003 (5 out of 5 stars) "I enjoyed David Paquette during his ten year stint at The Pioneer Inn at the Lahaina Harbor. (From the Jacket): "It was at this hotel he performed for the next ten years. In the beautiful restored whaling village of Lahaina (home now for David) that his first album was produced by John McVie of Fleetwood Mac. During these years Paquette met and performed with such diverse musicians as Amos Garrett, Maria Muldaur, Bonnie Raitt, Kenny Loggins, Turk Murphy, and Trummy Young."
This album recalls those wonderful years for me and replaces the vinyl record that has long since vanished. This is all newer material except for cut 6, "Lahaina Cake Glide" which brings back fond memories of that period.
