"I was lucky enough to visit dublin in march of 05 and I stumbled into a small record shop where the owner, possibly the coolest guy ever, played whatever we picked up for us over the speakers. After a few american acts and a damien rice cd he suggested this beuatiful ochestrated album. I am glad he did. He does sound alot like david gray, i wont say he doesnt, but there is something new and original to this album that is just fun. From the very get go its like your stepping back into an old Beatles album. If you want some pop music reminicent of the past quality look no further. Now that i have stressed the quality of Square 1 now what it sounds like. Think Nick Drake with a very soft light and fluffy synth background with rhythems by guitars. Personal for me that is pretty good, but you should def. check this out cause its worth it."
