"Robert Muczynski's Sonata for Cello and Piano is a stellar work that belongs right alongside the Shostakovich sonata. It is a jewel among cello-piano sonatas. Muczynski's music is always finely crafted and very idiomatic. This is one of his greatest chamber works. The performance is so moving and exciting, it covers a very large spectrum of emotions. If you are a music lover you need to hear this piece!"
