He was playing his new album 5,000 Words. I didn't really come to hear David Bach. I had never heard of him before. As I was walking around doing the wine tasting I was struck by how amazing the music was coming from the opposite side of the festival. It didn't take me long figure out how special David Bach and his band were. Breathtaking musicianship and composition. I purchased the CD and had David sign it for me. He thanked me for enjoying the music and I told him I tought he sounded like a blend of Happy The Man, Weather Report, Jan Hammer, Chick Corea all tosssed together with his own special seasoning. David is one of the finest artist I have ever heard and he deserves our full attention. " I must be dreaming.....
