CD ReviewsWorth the Wait Toc | Bakersfield, CA USA | 12/10/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) "What a treasure this 3rd release of Dave Stamey's is. There's not a "filler" song on the entire CD. The song he wrote for his wife, "Ready to Stand" has become an instant favorite. Melissa must be a very lucky lady to have such a beautiful tribute in song. "Mr. Shorty", another cut, feels like a personal friend and "Chime Bells" has us looking for a yodeling teacher. We first heard Dave Stamey in Auborn, CA, 1998 with the Sons of the San Joaquin. He is one of the best new singers out there. I can't recommend this CD highly enough. You'll play it until all the songs are in your own personal repertoire."
