This guy is the real deal, nobody else has played California Country music this good in a long, long time. Nobody has played country rock this well in a long, long time.His first record just called "Wasted Days" by the way included an unreleased Gram Parsons cover called "Funky String Quartet". Getting back to the new record.. Listening to Dave reminds me a little of Gram, Wynn Stewart, and even a little Dwight.. but most of all he's very similar to Gram. This guy could even be a better songwriter than Gram was. There is also some beautiful harmony on this record.. one song that sounds like an early Bee Gees song with twang.You have to pick this record up, it's an instant classic." The writers and "artists" have long been preaching and selling to that great mass middle ground common denominator. Everybody's happy, right? Wrong. Review the reviews of this DGWD recording and the first. Gleason and his Wasted Days have been name dropped in to a pot of the finest honkytonkin',country rockin' alumni, and not without good reason.
