CD Reviews

Great Music by Danny Wood but NOT GOOD CD by Amazon
H. B. Adiyanto | Indonesia | 10/06/2009

"I am fans of Danny Wood for a long time ago. I am familiar with his voice & his Hip Hop or RnB Music. He is brave enough to swift his music to ballad/slow rock music. I appreciate his talent on music and his effort to back on music industry, but if I have to choose I choose his music style on R & B or Hip Hop rather than on Ballad or rock."
Not Bad For a Solo Release
Jane Kay Boyer | United States | 09/20/2009

"I have to admit, I was not a certifiable NKOTB fanatic (or "Blockhead" as they are called). In essence I never knew Mr. Wood had such a good voice until I heard this CD that was purchased by my friend at one of NKOTB's recent concerts. I wouldn't go so far as to say it is Grammy Award nominating material, but is very easy listening to his voice and quite sweet. "Your Last Day" is quite poignant. I won't be so presumptuous as to say I am definitive in this song's meaning. However, I can guess that it was inspired by his beloved late mother. I can honestly say that song very much touches my heart.

I have yet to give complete credit to Mr. Wood for the entire compilation based on the fact the insert didn't provide any information as to who wrote all the songs and lyrics, and if he played the guitar for all or some of the songs. If I am to assume he wrote all the songs and provided the guitar music for this CD in its entirety then I applaud him for his efforts and give him more credit than just being a "boy band" member.
