"Should be billed coequally with the great Laurindo Almeida, as this is really a collaboration between that great guitarist, and harmonica virtuoso/ "Ruby" composer Mr. Welton. Peaceful, evocative and beautiful... reminds me in places of Henry Mancini's classic _Versatile ..._ LP, which also includes a version of Almeida's "Naked Sea" and some dreamy harmonica (was that Welton playing on that album?). If you worried that they didn't make GREAT easy listening/ mood/ jazz albums anymore, well, this proves that such records were still being made as recently as '95. Album is a fitting swan song for maestro Almeida, who, according to Welton's heartfelt liner notes, passed away a few days after recording was completed. A buried treasure, folks."
