Synopsis

Product Description
WATER is Daniel's first studio album in 18 months, following a life-changing sabbatical in the red-rocks and national parks of southeastern Utah. WATER features eleven beautiful, evocative folk songs of faith, serenity and surrender... evoking the timelessness and perfect balance of nature with his profound lyrical poetry and extraordinary gift for melody. For the daily life filled with worry and stress, this music is an amazing antidote, calming, comforting, and wise. In the spirit of Buddha, Rumi, and the Tao Te Ching, "Water" is the art of peaceful living expressed with timeless beauty. Features such powerful songs as "If The Race Is Over", "Empty", "Dark Blue Water" and "Last Song". This music is unlike any you've ever heard before... indeed, entirely different from anything Daniel has ever done before. An extraordinary new chapter in the legacy of this profound musical artist.

CD Reviews

Inspirational Music!

"I saw Daniel at our church last week. He had a concert after and I stayed for it. He writes his own music and it is very inspirational and spiritual. He also told of his retreat at Mohab, Utah. He stayed in a cabin there and spent his time hiking and writing songs. I think he said he wrote 126 songs in the 90 days he was there. The songs on the Water album come from that. There is a variety of music types on the album. I especially like "When I hear the Music". It starts out kind of Blue Grass with a bango. "Planting Seeds" starts out with flute music. Some of the music is slow and soulful, some of it is quick and upbeat. Some of it sounds like folk music. It is hard to categorize his style. It is wosnderful."
Amazing yet again! a must listen

"I absolutely love this new album of Daniel's. It is one of his best yet (even though I alaways say that when a new one comes out). This is a must buy for 2008."
An album you MUST own

"I have listened to this cd a gazillion times since I bought it. My 12 yr. old even loves it. You can't listen to it without feeling transformed. I especially love to put it on when I am in a bad mood or stressed out. I met Daniel and he is so sweet. If you ever get the chance to see him play, you MUST. Truly one of the most inspiring people I have seen in a long time!!! P.S. My daughter and I just can't get the songs out of our heads. She comes home singing them!"
