"i heard sound clips of this album from another website and i liked what i heard. i can tell by some of the tracks that Dan Hartman was influenced by the group "Wild Cherry" ("Chocolate Box", anyone?)

and the fact that it's "A Tom Moulton Mix" is even better.
to the record company that released this...

PLEASE REMASTER THIS ALBUM! it needs it. i don't mean that in a put down way but rather that it's so good that a classic such as this should get the proper treatment.(extra tracks, pics, etc)

ok i'm done. Thank You :)"
Gone, But The Music Lives On

"Instant Replay, which I first bought on vinyl in 1978, was and is one of the five best disco albums ever produced. Dan Hartman who wrote, produced, co-engineered, and played all of the instruments on most of the LP's songs, was and remains, one of music's great talents. You'll find that this CD will provide a timeless upbeat background for any party you choose to make better. Double O Love is an awesome track. In the words of Dan, when asked about that track said, "I was listening to, too much Parliment that week"! Have to love his honesty, and humble representation of his amazing musical talent. Chocolate Box is timeless. Instant Replay is still played at dance clubs all over the world. I like the CD better than the vinyl, though the large LP jacket makes a great wall piece."

"This was a favorite of mine for many years. Dan Hartman was such a talented musician and unfortunately had his life and career cut much too short. I can only imagine what he could have done had he been given more time. The negative is that if this CD was remastered digitally the sound just is not up to par compared to CD's remastered and recorded today."
