Synopsis

Album Description
Damnaged Aggression Therapy This, for lack of a better word, rules. Cathartic drum and bass intensity play off anthemic rock melodies, with hard guitar leads (think Slash, Brian May, that sort of thing) and the classic, catchy rebellion of punk lyrics. The growling vocals carry a certain sex appeal, and the sinister guitar riffs (especially on songs like "Wicked Throne" and "MindChanger") just plain rock. This band is young too, which allows the younger generation to relate better to the intense emotions expressed. They're made up of two sixteen year olds and a seventeen year old. They alos experiment with a wide variety of styles (best seen through "Pure," "Life of Pain" and "Wicked Throne"). They're not just kids out there to make as much noise as possible - they actually have something new to say about rock music. Check it out.

CD Reviews

Heavy metal music critic review
10/19/2001
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This CD is intelligent and heavy. WHat makes it even greater is that it was composed of young teens from Seattle Washington. I have not heard new rock music this good in years. IT is definetley worth the time to take a listen. I love this CD, it has a lot of depth and anger to it. It really is agressive and a five star all the way."
SEATTLE MUSIC IS COMMING TO AN ULTIMATE HIGH!!!

"Well all I have to say is that I live in New Jersey and I bought this CD over Amazon.com. These boys are so amazing for their age. (...) These boys are all in high school and they are playing these instruments like they are on MTV or something. I believe that the words that they wrote have meaning to them in ways that maybe people don't see. No one has the right to put down other peoples poetry, and this I might add is very good/deep poetry. To say they have sunk to an all time low is just absurd because they are just beginning. I don't know about this person but know one starts out perfect, they practice and learn how to be better each time they play. It is all a growing experience. Also might I add that I have never done drugs but I know what it is like to be around people who do and I see what it turns them into, because all my friends have or still do drugs. In life this Cameron child will learn that in life you not only learn from your mistakes but also from OTHERS!!!! Plus if you were to actually read the lyrics they talk nothing about the boys doing drugs themselves. It only talks about how they view the world and experiences they have gone through with others!! Well I must go but thanks for your time, and GO OUT AND BUY THIS CD!!!! IT ROCKS!"
This C.D. Rocks the House!

"I absolutely luved this C.D.!!!! I can't believe the guys in Damnaged are actually still in highschool. The music knocks me out. The words to the songs are amazing. Really good message. What I picked up so far is that drugs are wrong for all kinds of reasons, people too hyped on religion send the wrong message, and lots about being sad. My favorites are Life of Pain and Pure. Everbody should buy this C.D.!!!!!!!!!"
