I was born and raised on a steady diet of Haggard, Buck Owens, and Johnny Cash..... and with such a collection of their works, have confidently made the statement on many occasions that I'm really not concerned if anyone ever records anything new, as I have all I need. But am here to tell you that Dale has lit my ears like they've not been lit for a long, long time. A must listen for anyone cut from a passion for Merle and Buck.... Roy Nichols and Don Rich as well!"

"Great album, great songs, great mucisians. Dale is the best country music artist under 60 years old. I've been going to see Dale two or three times a month now for about a year and a half w and I had no idea that he had such a big following. If the nashville corporation would every play his music on the radio this guy would do really well. This album or "I hate these songs" is tied for Dale's best. If your ever lucky enough to be in Austin on a Thursday go to Ginny's and see him live and yell out a few titles from this album. There's just nuthing like it."
