"This album is amazing. I have been a Moonspell fan for about a year now, and when i saw that this was a side project from the members i was eager to purchase it. I cannot say i am the least bit disapointed, yet i am a fan of pure black metal also. Fans of the new Moonspell album may not be so keen on purchasing this album due to the difference between Moonspell and Daemonarch. This album is blacker than any Moonspell i have heard. The music goes from slow paced to blazing fast in almost every song. The vocals are typical black metal w/some almost chanting normal vocals. Anyone who loves music that has a truely evil sound to it will love this. My main hope now is that Daemonarch will not fall to the wayside like so many other side projects."
Could Not Be More Pleased By This

"This is a phenomenal piece of work that blows away everything previously done by Moonspell. The darker, black metal influences that are demonstrated here fit perfectly with Robeiro's style. (As an aside, I actually thought that the vox on this album on certain songs sounded strangely enough like a deeper more fuller version of vox done by Dani Filth.) The haunting synth and chanting throughout the album also make this a classic. I highly suggest this album to both fans of Moonspell who want to see a darker side of Robeiro as well as fans of other heavier sounds who would find an interest in goth influenced metal with black metal influences. The sound here is definitely much more raw than previous works by Robeiro, but thankfully the production value does not suffer. This album has great variety in both speed and vocal styles, and I very highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the genre."

"Man, this CD is awesome. Eveything about it is great. Its to good for words. The best tracks are 7th Daemonarch and Corpus Hermeticuni. Moonspell is good, but this the other side of Moonspell. The darker side. Its awesome."

"this cd is my favorite cd i have. you can play the entire album and keep playing it without getting tired of it.their version of bathory's call from the grave makes this track one of the best. other personal favorites include corpus hermeticum, incubus, seventh daemonarch, and hynm to lucifer. this darker side of moonspell is brutal and intense. the only thing is it doesnt have lyrics. they are so personal to fernando ribeiro aka langsuyar that he burned them after the album was complete. the guitar playing is awesome especially in corpus hermeticum and the drum programming is incredible. the vocals range from a screaming to a chanting like style especially on seventh daemonarch. this album has a real evil sound to it especially on call from the grave with the humming sound. there just not enough words to describe this album!"
Daemonarch, if you like Dark Black Metal AND Moonspell

"The most amazing thing and still logical about this CD is, that you can hear it is moonspell. Although it is harder, darker than moonspell, the sounds are alike. Because Fernando is the singer, it sounds also like Moonspell. Although in the old days moonspell produces songs that are much alike this, songs from Anno Satanae, these songs sound more complete and much better. I would say...if you are a moonspell fan, you should at least listen to it once, you might like this album too, even if you normally think it's to dark..."
