Marco Panascia on bass and Peter Erskine on drums.
One of the most exciting artists in jazz today, captured live in 2010 at Beverly
Hill s Rising Jazz Stars Studios.
Has performed/recorded with a plethora of jazz greats including Dizzy
Gillespie, Clark Terry, Lee Konitz, Chet Baker, Joe Henderson, Freddie
Hubbard, Terrell Stafford, Woody Shaw, and many others.
A highly respected musician, Maroni was granted the honor of serving as a juror
at the prestigious Thelonious Monk International Piano Competition in 1987.
A self-taught musician, he started playing piano at age four. By his mid-teens
he was playing professionally around Italy, and by age 17 he had recorded his
first album.
