CD Reviews

"A Groovy mind-blowing masterpiece." - Aaron Whitmoyer

"On track 3,"Feelin'Groovy,"You have never heard Simon and Garfunkel sound this cool, which is one of the most innovative recompositions I have heard. Wally brings innovation to trip-hop with unique sounds that make you look around, along with funky fresh beats, then he mixes up the noise with soothing winddown beatless tracks that carry rhythm uniquely inspiring. This is one to show all your friends.Buy this for cheap trip to Wallyworld. Also check out the Wally and Swingsett duo. Both of them are incredible, solo or together."

"Though "Genetic Flaw" isn't a masterpiece, it does contain several songs which are very interesting and fun. The beats here are very well done (most of the time), and although there aren't any lyrics really, it's still fun to listen to ("Feelin' Groovy", though, is a relatively fun song to sing along with for a while). Be warned though: "Japaneez Wine" is a VERY strange track (though I still like it). You can tell it was inspired by earlier acts such as DJ Shadow. The problem, however, is that it contains some noticable filler, and some of the highlights tend to run on a bit too long. The remix of Simon & Garfunkel's "Feelin' Groovy" is also a noteworthy track, even if it does, as stated before, run on a bit too long. Overall, however, the pros far outweigh the cons making this a very satisfying purchase for genre fans. Recommended for electronic and turntablism fans.

Highlights include:

"Japaneez Wine"

"Possi Purple"

"Feelin' Groovy"

"Mr. Beaver Saves The Day"

"Space People"

"Ricco's Love"

"At War"

"Ridiculous Sound" (parts of)
