"Since when did anyone make a hip hop record like this? This guy raps some of the most ludicrous rhymes possible over big DIY beats and comes off on top. Good cameos from Naughty by Nature, Too $hort, and E-Marvellous help to certify 'To Tha Rescue' as one of raps forgotten masterworks. Happy hunting."

"On his second CD, former Boogie Down Productions member D-Nice rapped hard, straight and true on such cuts as "Check Yourself" and "Straight From The Bronx." He didn't score any hits, but he certainly demonstrated his rhyming acumen and fluidity. Buy this!"
