"I bought this CD on a whim from Perris Records not too long after it came out, and I am quite happy I came across this little gem. I'm just sad to see that some 9 years after the fact that Cyclone Tracy never released another album. From the very get go, this album grabs hold and never lets go. The band is from Australia if I remember right, but you wouldn't know it, as the sound is right in line with many of the best from the 80s metal era. If I had to truly compare it to something, I would lean towards some of the heavier tunes on Skid Row's Slave to the Grind album, in that the melodies and hooks are there, but the guitars have that extra little crunch and aggressiveness, and the vocals have the ticked off attitude that Sabastian Bach would deliver when he wasn't singing power ballads. Don't let the fact that this album came out in 1998 throw you... it has the musical elements of an album from 10 years earlier. There's even a pretty darn good cover of Kiss's War Machine on here. If you can get your hands on this one cheap, I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to scoop it up and discover for yourself a band that didn't get their due."
