While their earlier albums (betti cola, come out, come out) were fun and poppy, _Mauler_ is much fuller and richer sounding. Fb song is truly amazing with great lyrics and a real band sound. While many people may have dismissed cub as a 'novelty act' in the past, this album certainly proves them wrong. It's a shame the group is no longer together, but this album is a perfect ending for the group."
