"The self-titled gospel CD CRUSADE is a must have for lovers of gospel music and especially christian musicians everywhere. This CD, released in 1994 was way ahead of its time with its infusion of hip-hop style rhythms, complex jazzy harmonies and slick chord progressions. The CRUSADE youngsters were truly annointed as they delivered their talents through very skillful praise and worship. I still have yet to hear a CD that consistently blows me away track by track in its style and creativity.The message in the music was an unmistakeably genuine, non-compromising, message of the gospel of Jesus Christ being our soon coming Lord; with us being "The Bride". My wife and I were completely moved by how the song "The Bride" demonstrated that holy marriage is patterned after Jesus coming to earth for His bride, the church (believers in Him). So much so that this song was our march in song at our wedding. CRUSADE - where are you now, at a time that so much music copies the "wordly" sound. It would be so nice to hear your skill, your message, and your creativity. But - until then, the CRUSADE masterpiece is truly a rare gem. Music lovers, find it if you can, and add much strength to your gospel collection. Because CRUSADE is truly a gospel gem with real meaning."
