CD Reviews

Ahead of their time...even for today's hardcore!!!

"It's a pleasure to find this band in here. The Crumbsuckers, along with D.R.I, The Cro-Mags, Agnostic Front,S.O.D, Killing Time(ex-Raw deal), Crytic Slaughter and Excell, helped redifine the old school/new school crossover style. Incorporating more metal/trash based riff structures, heart pounding fast drumming, breaks and progressions with extremely agressive vocals and sing-a-long choruses. They were tight, they were Techinical, they were fast, they had the power of ten nuke bombs about to get detonated, the Crumbsuckers kicked everybody's ass back in the days of yore!!! This album is a crossover masterpiece. From the piano intro of Breakout to the stupidly out of control climax of B.O.M.B. this album is a heavyweight contender. Back in the day when Trash outfits like Anthrax, Overkill and Suicidal Tendencies were changing their style into a more crossover Trash/core sound, the Crumbsuckers were also there to push things to the limit. This is a highly recommended album for anyone interested in late 80's/early 90's crossover hardcore."
So glad I found it - great stuff!

"I LIVED on this album back the late 80's. I'm so happy to see if for sale. I'm not really a metal fan, but I really got hooked on this album. The songs are so bizzare, complex, and the band is TIGHT. Buy this. It takes a few listens to get into it."

"every old school metal fan should have this one in their collection based on the superb debut album life of dreams, though to me it doesn`t deliver the same hard core sound, the crumbs changed on this album, they became more of a metal band than a raw hardcore punk band."
