Comparisons to Girlschool, Vixen, Runaways, are just not appropriate in my opinion. These girls smoke those bands in terms of real metal bona fides. This is a band that combines great hooks, powerful and authentic riffs with unbelievable vocals. Mia Coldheart is an amazing singer and is up there with the likes of Doro Pesch of Warlock fame. I know Doro must love this band. It's been a long time since this kind of in your face alcohol fueled sleaze/metal has been around. There are some very subtle tinges of early aerosmith influences as well. These girls could easily open for Megadeth or Metallica and those boys should call them! A truly great CD (there sophmore effort is only a step off this effort and is also great)! Go girls!!! Amazing record."
