It's Okay...Just Okay

"The second album from Crime Mob has no memerable moments on the album but it definitely has some crunk to it. The lead single "Rock Yo Hips" is a decent track but nothing here seems to top their most known single "Knuck If You Buck" but its a decent single and the video is alright. The female emcee's Diamond and Princess standout more on the album than the guys on "2nd Look", and on "Circles". It's not a horrible album but its not the best. The two females should go solo maybe they'll sell more."

"I don't know why I continue to do it to myself. I'm not a fan of Crime Mob, but thanks to my monthly subscription on a website I can download music legally, I am able to test out music before I spend my hard earned money on this album. Crime Mob had a nice crunk song "Knuck If You Buck" back in '04, and I did like that song. This album's lead single "Rock Yo Hips" is not good. Every house party and every event I go to, there is a 100% chance that song is going to play. That is the only reason why I like that song, because of the fact that I hear it so many times, that I begin to like it, unintentionally. The obvious thing that wrecks this album is horrible lyrics. Some say that it's intended for crunk music, but I hardly ever see anything else out side of that circle. "2nd Look" is decent because of the females (Diamond and Princess) are on it by themselves. I always thought that they were better than the guys in my opinon. The production on here is less than decent. There are some bumping beats on here that I liked, but it wasn't enough to hold my attention.

This CD is easily fogettable in my opinion. It's not really fair that this mostly represents Atlanta. There are much better acts from here, that hardly will ever get noticed, because we have been stereotyped for putting out inconsistant club music. This CD is good for rocking house parties, and probably nothing else.

By the way, they're from Ellenwood, Ga. Thats not even inside of I-285.
