Sometimes great things aren't marketed well

"Craig Horton is basically a San Francisco bay area player that was transplanted from Chicago at some point. He also lived in St. Louis back in the day. This is the debut solo album for him and it has a nice flow. Horton plays literally a middle ground between Buddy Guy, B.B. King and Chuck Berry. His other disc is much more acclaimed, earning him some awards and the like. I still like this one better. He plays plugged in and tends not to have horns accompany him. If you get the chance to catch him sometime live, by all means spend the 10-15 bucks and prepare to kill about 4 hours because that's what he tends to bring live."
