The Best Today

"Right now Craig David is the most talented artist in the music business today. His beats and sound is unlike anything I have ever heard before. Elton John has said that Craig David is the best artist in Europe hands down!!! Forget the boy bands and the club music, this kid is the bomb and he is going to take the US by storm when his record drops on the 17th. I told my friends to watch out for this kid and here he is now, we really aren't ready for this guy yet. You won't find one bad song on the whole CD, every song has an awseome beat and a very good story. I could go on and on all day about this guy but I'll just tell u to buy the ablum and see for yourself. The girls are going to love this music guys so all u pimps and playas out there go get this record and get ready to rock this summer."
Craig David was certainly Born To Do It!

"Craig David was born to perform in the RnB music industry! With his debut album "Born To Do It", he has shown why he is one of the hottest emerging talents in the music scene and destined to become an even bigger RnB star in the near future. In "Born To Do It", David has shown a large diversity in his album that makes it appealing to hip-hop fans all around the world. Whether it is his strong love ballads such as "Rendezvous" or his catchy hip-hop tunes of "Can't Be Messing 'round" it will appeal to fans of young and old. This album has already yielded two hits which have earnt him prise and popularity all around the world. "7 Days" and " Fill Me In" have both been UK #1 hits. These have also made the top 20 of many countries around the world, including Australia, where David peaked at #5 with " Fill Me In" and "7 Days" sure of good times to come, debuting at a hot number 15! However, there is a downpoint in this album in that there is not a lot of tracks and even including the 2 bonus tracks would make it only 13 tracks in total. In spite of this, if you are after good funky tunes that appeal to all, do what i did and buy this album!!!"
Why are they doing it so much better over seas?

"If America can't see how boring and simple their music has become, just look over seas and see the meaning of creativity. Being that I keep my ears to the underground and UK sound, the name Craig David wasn't anything new to ears. My first impression was a UK version of User, but with a stronger voice. I heard the original release of "Born To Do it" from the 1st release date a year ago from friends but wasn't moved. (Maybe because I was hearing it for the first time on a 15watt radio) Not until Guru's Jazzmatazz3, did I really enjoyed sound of his voice over the track "no more". Not sure why Craig David decided to release 2 more of the same album, but this is the version I chose because of the remixes. Wasn't at all disappointed with this purchase and really kicking myself for not copping it earlier. This CD sounds like productions from the U.S., but the production out shines any R&B producer in the states. The format for making an American hit seems to be as follow: 1st you get a Timbeland or Neptunes type track then use words and phrases like: "Ice", "Bling bling", "Thug", "Playa" and "Baller" in your song and then please exploit these phrases as much as you can in your video and a little champagne wouldn't hurt your image then it already is......... Craig David seem to miss that seminar on "making an American hit", because the CD is nothing of the sort. (we got lil RayJay singing about "sticky green"....people wake up!!) True talent followed up by tight production...... it seemed to work very well here. So........... why hasn't America caught on. BRAINWASHED!!!! oNe"
