* Crackmind has soaked up influences from a multitude of great rock music and musicians, ranging from the classic hard rock bands of the '70s to grunge and metal, crafting their own distinctive style in the process.
* Crackmind was formed at the start of the decade in the Alsace region of France by vocalist Normann and guitarist Alcatraz. After releasing a few demos, the lineup stabilized around 2006. In the meantime, the band had built their own professional recording studio, which allowed them to write, record, and experiment.
* Their debut album garnered them a certain degree of global interest, even allowing them to play in South America. Memorable songwriting and evocative vocals set them apart from the pack.
