"This album features two different recording sessions from 1954. The first one is a studio session with just nine members of the band. It seems hollow and lacks that great big sound you get when all sixteen musicians are playing. I think this first half of the album is worth owning by any Count Basie fan just as an example of why you really need all the guys in there working.
The second half is a live recording in front of a very wild audience with the entire band. This half of the album is incredible. 'You For Me', 'Bubbles', 'Two For The Blues' are among my top favorites out of around 400 Basie tracks I own. I highly recommend this album to any Count Basie fan."
