CD ReviewsStraight-up dope rock/psychedelia 03/11/1999 (4 out of 5 stars) "The musical stylings of Core fit rather nicely between the groove rock of Fu Manchu and heavy stoner tones of Monster Magnet. The vocals are very well done, backed by a fantastic guitar sound. I don't know the present status of Core, but look forward to hearing anything else they might have done or will do. If your tastes lean toward rock and roll by the likes of Monster Magnet, Fu Manchu, Kyuss, or Sleep, then "Revival" is right up your alley.It is well worth checking out, especially the first few tracks."
