"I saw this band live in September and could hardly wait for the cd to be released. This isn't my usual genre of music, but I fell in love with the fresh sound and originality. I enjoy listening to the music and was glad I added the cd to my collection."
One of the best albums I've ever bought!

"I can't even start to describe this music, other than AWESOME! From the striking guitar chords and brilliant piano to the melodic and catchy bass and hard hitting drums, this album gave me chills when I first heard it! If you're a fan of british bands like Coldplay or Radiohead, you'll LOVE this album!"

"I received this cd a week ago and I have played it pretty much nonstop. These guys have done an amazing job on this EP. The music and vocals are simply amazing and the lyrics even better.
I can't remember buying a cd I liked better."
A most impressive release!

"As a fan of the latest wave of British influnced pop/rock, I find that the initial release from Belafonte fits in nicely alongside its better-known contemporaries such as Radiohead, Keane, and Coldplay, to name a few. They are able to gracefully walk the tightrope of wearing their influences on their sleeve without losing their own identity, or worse, sounding like a cheap knock-off. They are definitely doing their own thing. And as a result, this cd actually seems to have taken up permanent residence in my cd player.
On this disc the band shows excellent use of dynamics as well as strong pop sensibility. They have an ear for a good hook, yet they don't over-use them. Vocals and instrumentation are strongly performed and well recorded. The lyrics are for the most part intelligent without being pompous, and yet sometimes simple without being trite. Not an easy task, mind you!
Perhaps the best trait of this cd is that it leaves you wanting more, like all of the great ones."
