From the expertly executed drum licks to the oh-so sweet guitar riffs, this band has got their finger on the pulse when it comes to the smooth blend of country and rock. The lead singer, Matt Martindale, croons some of the most thoughtful, intricately woven lyrics written from his own pen. To put it simply, pick up a copy of Cooder Graw's "Wake Up" today and you'll never nod off to country music again..."

"I've heard several of Cooder's previous CD's and they are all excellent...but this one tops them all. Country music? Well, it's much more than that! There's some of the best songwriting that this reviewer's heard in many a year. Sure, there's a few good ol' boy, get-down stompers, but take a listen to a tune like "Dirty and Sober" (for example). That's real gut wrenching, soul searching music!

In short...get this CD and find out that "Country Music" is more than what's being played on the radio these days. This is the REAL thing!"
