"When i first checked this cd out, i was already reeled in by the catchy instrumentals, followed by some fresh beats. After i bought it, i wasn't disappointed one bit. This isn't one of those cds where you have to skip through half of the songs to get to one you like. I could compare Controller 7 to DJ Shadow or RJD2, in that they all weave in fresh beats to different and unusual and varied sounds. But Controller 7 is original in itself, with sounds you've never heard before. To top this album off, remixes from Deep Puddle are added in here and there among its 37 tracks. I find these remixes are better than the originals, no doubt. These original sounds and new take on hip hop blend in perfectly with the rest of the album's creative spirit. The only criticism I have toward this album is that some of the best beats and music pieces are just too short. Just as you've gotten into it and start bobbin your head, the road turns and it flows into some intermission, not just leaving you upset the last beat ended but anxious for the next one to start. If you want something amazingly original to listen to, and are sick of the usual hip hop sounds, COP THIS SH*T! you won't be able to take it back out of your cd player."
