"I've been a Zombie fan since their music was first introduced in the states. I was a singer in a R&B band when I first heard them and immediatly incorporated some of the songs into our repitiore which were accepted with great joy from our following. Well years later I stumbled on an Album called "One Year" and was totally floored. To this day I listen to all of Colins Albums (CD's)and also have included some songs into whatever act I'm playing with. I was an Argent fan as well but the strings with Colins voice add a new dimension to the music. I've written to Colin's website several times asking for some or all of the old albums to be re-released and here they come. I only hope someone has the forsight to release "Never Even Thought" soon. Ennismore was one of my favorites and so was Journey. I listen to them in my car now all the time and am very pleased they were released from the time warp they were in. They hold up today as they did the day they were recorded but with the added touch of todays technology. I do hope this is the start of all Colin's albums to be released. "For a complete collection, rare non-LP bonus tracks and excellent sound quality, I recommend that fans buy the Colin Blunstone Original Album Classics 3 CD Boxed Set released by Sony in 2010.

The new collection includes re-mastered versions of Blunstone's first three albums, One Year, Journey and Ennismore. Original Album Classics also features 2 rare bonus tracks which were originally released as non-LP b-sides. This set features excellent artwork for each album, faithful reproductions of the original LP graphics on the front and back of each album.

The sound quality is far superior to any previously released version of One Year, Ennismore or Journey. I'm a longtime fan of The Zombies/Colin Blunstone and this release has been in the works for several years. Due to popular demand, Sony has completed the project and released this extraordinary boxed set, which might be one of the all-time best boxed sets ever to be released by Sony.

Although Colin Blunstone continues to perform solo concerts with his own band, he and Rod Argent are also working on an album of new material with The Zombies. The current lineup of The Zombies includes Colin Blunstone, Rod Argent, bassist Jim Rodford and drummer Steve Rodford. The Zombies are still a band and continue to make quality music with new albums and high-demand world tours.

"I'm a newcomer to the Zombies and Colin's solo work, but you don't have to slap me with a stupid stick to figure out that there is something very special and appealing about anything this man has involved himself in. As if the man's breathy sensual voice isn't enough to make you blow a gasket, his choice of cover material is always deep and thoughtful, sophisticated as all get-out, and appealingly British. His own material reflects what an intelligent individual he is, and his melodic sense is off the charts.

Be it the playful disco of "Weak for You," the slightly Crosby, Stills, and Nash leanings of "I Don't Believe in Miracles," or the rather Al Stewart-like "A Sign From Me to You (Only 20 times better!), there is something on both these albums that makes playing them repeatedly irresistible. Actually, I love everything on them both, and they portray a wide range of styles without ever getting heavy handed. I may be a newcomer to the camp, but I can certainly tell style and substance when I hear it. Colin's music is timeless (as far as I'm concerned), sensual, intelligent, and far too appealing to be ignored. If you want good music, this is where to come. Ennismore and Journey are both well worth the excursion."
