"This guy is a true prodigy. I have never heard a faster or cleaner guitar picker than Kilby. But, that's now. He was only a teenager when Just Me was recorded. It's a remarkable effort if only for the fact that he plays all the instruments here, but he had not yet achieved the brilliance that he now displays and the music here is not an indication of the level that he would later reach. Good enough for most, but once you have heard him in Kentucky Thunder nothing else measures up. I wish he would record another CD today...."

"I wish I could play any of one these instruments as well as Cody plays them all! Yes, he plays every instrument heard on the album. The music is traditional to modern bluegrass instrumentals, original compositions mixed with classics. All are played with modern licks and in good taste. Cody's now the guitar player for Ricky Skagg's Kentucky Thunder, a testament to his skill and taste."
