She asked us to be her Johnny Thunders, and who were we to say no? She was stripping to the Stooges! Our first rehearsal was in our friend Adam's basement. He played drums. We hoped that Coco would give us a private show but she was all business, screaming and strumming her guitar. Kevin traded her some new pantie for her guitar, and the Killers were born. We played our first show at another Chinese restaurant across the Willamette River. Coco's boyfriend was booking Portland's punk dive, The Satyricon, so we played there, and we played at a Russian strip bar, Union Jacks, and the former strip bar, EJ's. During this time we were playing quite a few shows with a great band called the Pills. They took us into their basement for a few days and recorded the 12 songs on this disc. I sent the disc out to some record labels hoping to get back a few boxes of colored vinyl 7"s to sell at shows for beer money, but that never happend. When Adam died last year I dug out the CD and made a few copies for people who knew him. If you were around to see the naked drunken mess of Coco Cobra and the Killers, then you'll remember these sex tunes.
