CD Reviews

My fave album of 2001!!

(5 out of 5 stars)

"The best R&B album in a long time. Just when I was complaining that there are no good albums anymore...this gem comes along. I liked pretty much every song on this album and that is quite rare in itself. I can honestly say it has not left my cd player since. The best thing thing about this album is that it's got a bit of everything. I don't know why there are not more 'co-ed' groups around...they can achieve what most single sex groups can't..variety. Most of the tracks have both male and feamle vocals. My personal favourites are 'sumthin on u','anywhere'and 'roll wit me'. There is also a great remix of roll wit me which is called 'ghetto dream' ft Big Gipp. If you're a remix lover like me, you might wanna check out some other remixes which are not on the album. The only negative thing I can think of is all the interludes..someone please tell me..what is the point of interludes?? I don't mind them at the beginning and end of an album but this album has 5 interludes. There are 17 full size tracks(plus the 5 interludes) so you are definately getting value for money."
I MISSED OUT!

"Co-Ed is unknown for their great talent. Having a gurl and guy's point of view, this brings both sexes together for everyday situations.

The ear openers:

Roll Wit' Me (10/10) - If anyone who owns this record notice this song is the same track that Rickey Smiley sampled for his smash hit on B.E.T. "We Miss Robert". Everytime you hear this, you'll think of it.

The 1st Time (10/10) - A live band-like track about the first time they fell in love

Fantastic Fantasy (10/10) - That reality-like dream that someone could help come true.

Utopia (10/10) - The reggae track featuring Beenie Man. Great for the dance floor.

Been Around (10/10) - That "I've been through too much and I don't wanna break your heart" song. The guitar and blasting blass line goes great with their vocals.

GET THIS AND DON'T MISS OUT!"
