Clive Baldwin, who bills himself as the "World's Greatest Minstrel" and "The Living Voice of Al Jolson" lives up to his claims. He delivers. Whether he does songs made popular by Jolson (Swanee, I'm Looking Over a Four Leaf Clover, Dirty Hands, Dirty Face, etc.) or songs Jolson sang but was not well known for (How Deep is the Ocean) or newer songs after Jolson's time (New York, New York) or original songs by Clive Baldwin (Where the Good Times Are, The World's Greatest Minstrel), he sounds like Jolie! Period. The CD is top notch in every way; good background music/arrangments, varied selection--an absolute gem. A "must have" for Jolson fans."
