Classic Classix

"Ahh,the memories this CD brought back, haunting melodies, my teenage years, I can finally ditch the warped tape I had & listen, again with a wry smile on my face. yes this is probably not everyones' cup of Earl grey, however, it suits me just fine. some of the tracks I have on single Vinyl...I wonder how much those are worth?"
One of the 80's most original bands

"I have had a cassette copy of this music since the early 80's. I first came upon this band back in 1981 on MTV with the video of "Guilty".

Classix Nouveaux were very underrated at the time and even since then. Great musicianship, especially Mik Sweeney on fretless bass. Check out the bonus song "Test Tube Babies" which is my favorite. Sal Solo has an interesting singing style which is a little too much sometimes but the music is so great, I can overlook that.

I'm so glad they included everything from the singles and a couple songs that were not on the US version of the LP. A great, original band and I love this CD!"
