This release has been produced by the award-winning producer Robert Townson, who has worked with many of the legends of movie music, including John Williams, Has Zimmer, Michael Legrand and Morricone himself. The music is transcribed by pianist Simone Pedroni. A winner of the Van Cliburn Competition, he has appeared in major concert halls around the globe and worked with musicians such as Riccardo Chailly, Zubin Mehta, Eliahu Inbal and Leonard Slatkin. His transcriptions of the film music of John Williams been praised by the composer himself. Sara Andon is a flute virtuoso who has appeared on numerous major soundtracks including: ""The Jungle Book"", ""The Fast and the Furious 7 & 8"", ""Tron"", ""Straight Outta Compton"" and ""The Wolverine"". She has worked with many of the foremost film composers of the day such as Marco Beltrami, Brian Tyler, Lalo Schfirin and Mark Isham. This album brings the music of Morricone to a new, young audience in an exciting new way.
