"Heart of Christmas" is Chuck Girard's first Christmas album. Chuck's desire was to create a Christmas album that would truly uplift the name of Christ and be something of a worship experience. He searched the internet looking for lyrics to familiar Christmas songs with more obscure Christian content. This was somewhat successful but when no such content existed, Chuck wrote special lyrics to several of the timeless classics. Even Jingle Bells has special verses with Chuck's original lyrical spin. Chuck says "I've never been a fan of traditional Christmas music and wanted to make very special versions of these familiar songs that would be musically unique." The album contains two original new Christmas songs written by Chuck.
