Texafrance-Encore! is from 2003. This record is stunningly produced by Christine's musical partner/husband Chris Gage (the two also record and tour as Americana duo 'Albert and Gage'), and the music travels from the streets of Paris, where Albert often visited her grandmother, to the highways of the American southwest, where she carved out her musical career. Edith Piaf is well represented, along with spirited songs by Daniel Lanois and Rickie Lee Jones. The Austin Chronicle commented that 'its beauty is not just in the music, but in its sheer romantic atmosphere, the kind you need no partner to enjoy'. Gage plays piano, accordion and guitar and is joined by Olivier Giraud (8½ Souvenirs) on guitar and Paul Glasse on mandolin.
