This is in my opinion christinas best album. It was before her sluttier music and shows off her voice better.

"I hear the song in the radio in english and in spanish and I think that the songs are so cool."

"We get to hear Christina without all the distracting background music, just her amazingly "Blessed" voice. When I listen to "Genie In A Bottle" I consider it the sound of my generation. It talks about how, even though Christina hasn't had a date for a while and is going with this hottie, it doesn't mean she's going to "give it away." It's very cool, with a sort of Arabian nights meets Latin backbeat. (The opening piano music catches your attention very well.) It's a little poppy, but definitely R&B. "Blessed" was on the original American soundtrack and os one of my favorite songs. Especially at this time of year when all you ever hear is "I want, I want, I want" "I'm Blessed for everything you've given me, Blessed for all the tenderness you showed me, do my best with every breath that's in me, Blessed to make sure you never go." Isn't that prettier than someone singing their holiday wishlist? Finally, the Acapella Genie In A Bottle. My favorite track here. Not only is this the only place you can hear it, it is Christina all the way. No distracting music, just her super-talented voice belting out her first smash hit single without all the hulabaloo. Now that's what I call music!"
