Christian Smith, globe-trotting Swedish DJ and owner of the highly respected Tronic Music label is the next artist invited to mix the latest instalment or the Slovenian Explicit Musick label (co-owned by Umek) entitled: Ekspozicija 05: Tronic Treatment.
Besides his numerous productions with John Selway - also included in the mix are some of the biggest producers of today: Layo & Bushwacka!, Booka Shade, and Antoine Clamaran, to name a few. The others here are vital parts of the current `crème de la crème' of the international techno "guerrillarati". Ekspozicija 05 is certainly the best proof that Christian Smith won't disappoint - be it in a club or on a mix!
Christian is known for his funky and fast DJ-ing - and on his new mix CD he surely doesn't dissapoint. He certainly brings the feeling of a sweaty club atmosphere straight to the listener, and does it with a style that his peers don't necessarily have. He is not afraid to include over a decade old club classics such as Robotman's (aka Plastikman/Richie Hawtin) 'Do Da Do' in his set, as well as showcase his (and his mate John Selway's) production skills and talent for club-floorfillers that always work - just check 'Walk the Walk' or the aptly-titled 'Move'!
